As u all know that English is studied in many different ways , and by using different curriculum,even the same country uses different curriculum at each university:study: ..

In this thread we are going 2 introduce our curriculum to each other ..in order to recognize what others study ..

hmmm .. I’ll start first ..😎

First I would like to introduce the university I study at ..

It’s Sultan Qaboos University..

and here is a picture for it..

and this is the symbol of my university ..

This book is British survey .. we study the British literature( poetry,stories, plays and so on)

it’s not boring ,but moooooooooore than boring ..

it has many Latin words ..

I strongly hate it ..

This is the wonderful course I have ever which is Speaking ..

although it needs hard work ,I love it ..:032:

Reading ..

the only thing I can tell u about it is that I got a" D" ..

Research Skills ..

it’s a sort of writing .. very difficult subject and the tests are more difficult than the subject .. I think it will make me crazy ..

Last but not least ..

American Survey ..

very interesting .. although the instructor call Mr.F since every semester about 4 or5 fail in this course ,alhmdllah I got some good grades ..

OOh yaa about the course .. it’s similar to British Survey but the difference is that in American we study American literature

it’s really interesting .. we also look at the history of America and how it was established ..

ooh congrats..

5 grammar courses ..!:047: we have 2 courses only and I thought that’s more than enough since I know that even if I had 1000668 grammar courses I wont understand it ..

ooh .. u almost study what we study..I also took linguistics courses such as phonetics ,phonology and the next semester I’m gonna take syntax..

about the translation how many courses did u take ..?

it’s ok .. I have already had a clear picture about the curricula u study..

Nooooooooooooo.. very frustrated ..

I ‘ll take this course next semester by Allah’s will .. which is (translation studies).. u have 2 help me in passing this course ..:rolleyes:

it is not difficult don,t worry about it but it,s boring maybe u will like it
