listen girls.. I noticed something.. that made me feel
sad.. and worried at the same time..
and I want to know what you think..
many girls in here tend to shorten words
and write them as they are pronounced.. or said in slang
like writing u for you
and Njoy for enjoy
and nt for not …etc
I truly don’t think this is a good idea at all
because when you do this, you ruin your spelling
and with time it makes you forget the spelling of some words
or at least makes you uncertain..
besides, practice makes perfect.. so why not practice here
as well !
it is not just about communicating ideas but also learning at the same time
and I think this is the best way to teach >>
when you write well you teach English proper !

I believe in abbreviations but not the wrong spelling
I think the abbreviations must be used only by those who can write , read , and speak English very well .
as if they are native speakers

the problem is all the members use this code in their writings because they used to use it in sms and chatting rooms in all over the world
Normally we’ve to use the Language to help the beginers to learn English, I personally tried to suggest solutions in the library and
تجارب الأعضاء and crosswords,.. as well, when I sugest to write in both Arabic and English together( translatio) but believe me few members participated
they used to write in such way and use these symbols and we are obliged because they keeping on theirs
You r right and we’ve to change and put an end for this
I think in that case it is a matter of changing one’s own writing
I mean it looks like you agree so go ahead and you will benefit..
change does not come with one effort.. it comes with cooperation..
that is why I suggested it .. for everyone’s benefit..
and the first thing I did and inshallah will keep on doing
is writing in the best way I can..

to make it clear I am not against the usual abbreviations
like don’t or I’ll …etc..
I am against using u for you and Njoy for enjoy …etc..

It was just a small advice from someone who cares ..
the decision to take it or leave it is up to every girl’s own
