Hadith of my choice :
Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“The example of a good companion and a bad one is the bearer of musk and the worker on the bellows. A bearer of musk would give you some, you might buy some from him, or you might enjoy the fragrance of his musk. The worker on the bellows, on the other hand, might spoil your clothes with sparks from his bellows, or you get a bad smell from him.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, this version being Muslim’s)……!i

An interview with amaladel
+ = + = + = + = + =
1. amaladel thank-you dear for allowing us to take some of your precious time. It’s an honor to have you as our first guest; the first question for me to ask would have to be related to 3roos. So would you mind telling us.. what has 3roos added to you, and what has it taken away from you?
Thank you, dear sister, for inviting me to answer your questions and I hope i will be a nice guest. as for your first question about what 3roos added to me, it added a lot to me. it gave me the sisters i wished for all my life as i have no sisters. in addition, it added a lot of valuable information to me in many fields. in fact, i learn more and more from 3roos everyday. and as i always tell my friends, 3roos is an internet library, not just a forum. as for what it has taken away from me, it has taken my love and care for it, which i grant to it happily because i love the forum. in fact it has given me more than i have given to it.z
2. There’s no doubt that whoever registers in 3roos experiences many pleasant events that would remain as memories for a long time, I am sure you bear a lot of these yourself, but my question is, are there any UNpleasant memories you have got?
i have never experienced such events except when the forum stops for one reason or the other because this really makes me sad because i miss all my sisters here.
4.You are a moderator now and previously you were a member. This change in postion, has it also caused other things to change?
well, as a matter of fact, this change from being a member to being a moderator of course added to my responsibilities. i am not only a member responsible for my posts but i am also responsible for the posts of other members, sometimes not only in my corner but in other corners as well if any of the sisters is absent or away and asks us to back her up. but to tell the truth this responsibility becomes easier with helpful members like those in 3roos because they already have a sense of responsibility that helps u more.z
5.Who would you address these words to?
. Keep up the good work?
i say keep up the good work to all the active members in the corner of the english language
. I ask Allah to forgive you?
i ask Allah to forgive anyone who misjudged me
. You are greatly missed?
i say you are greatly missed to all those who contributed to create the corner of english then suddenly disappeared
. Thank you?
i say thank you to the administration of 3roos for encouraging us to be creative
6.Can you tell us about one of your wishes that hasn’t been fulfilled yet?
well, the wish i pray to God it will be fulfilled is to visit Mecca and Medina and t perform Hajj
7.A last word you would like to say to all your lovers here at 3roos?
well, i say to all people i love in 3roos: thanks a lot for supporting me and standing by me and enduring my absence for long times from the corner and i tell them to forgive me if i was not present when they needed me

THE MANX CAT
by
صـــارع
The Breed
A stocky, solidly built cat with a short back and compact body.
It has long back legs which are noticeably longer then the front legs.
Covered in a dense double coat the cats can weigh on average 10 to 12 pounds for males and 8 to 10 pounds for females.
A highly intelligent and affectionate breed often referred to as the "Dog Cat".
The Manx breed is the result of spontaneous mutation, which occurred hundreds of years ago. This mutation caused kittens to be born without the vertebrae which forms a normal cat tail. The isolation of the cats on an island meant years of inbreeding produced dominate gene traits, which we now recognise as the Manx Cat.
Types
Rumpy – Completely tailless.
Riser – Bit of stump at base of spine.
Stumpy – A short stump of a tail.
Longy – A visible short tail.
Mythology and Folklore of the Manx Cat
There are many ideas as to how the Manx Cats might have come into being. Listed here are some of such tales …
When filling the ark and the rains came down, Noah closed the door and caught the tail of a cat.
Cats from ships wrecked on the coasts around the Isle of Man came ashore and made the Island their home.
Mother cats bit off the tails of their kittens to keep them from being snatched by the invading Scandinavians, who cut off the tails and used them for decorating their helmets

Brief Biography of Shakespeare
by
wewe23
William Shakespeare was born to John Shakespeare and mother Mary Arden some time in late April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. There is no record of his birth, but his birthday is assumed to be the 23 of April. His father was a prominent and prosperous alderman in the town of Stratford-upon-Avon, and was later granted a coat of arms by the College of Heralds. All that is known of Shakespeare’s youth is that he presumably attended the Stratford Grammar School, and did not proceed to Oxford or Cambridge. The next record of him is his marriage to Anne Hathaway in 1582. The next year she bore a daughter for him, Susanna, followed by the twins Judith and Hamnet two years later.
Seven years later Shakespeare is recognized as an actor, poet and playwright, when a rival playwright, Robert Greene, refers to him as "an upstart crow" in A Groatsworth of Wit. A few years later he joined up with one of the most successful acting troupe’s in London: The Lord Chamberlain’s Men. When, in 1599, the troupe lost the lease of the theatre where they performed, (appropriately called The Theatre) they were wealthy enough to build their own theatre across the Thames, south of London, which they called "The Globe." The new theatre opened in July of 1599, built from the timbers of The Theatre, with the motto "Totus mundus agit histrionem" (A whole world of players) When James I came to the throne (1603) the troupe was designated by the new king as the King’s Men (or King’s Company). The Letters Patent of the company specifically charged Shakespeare and eight others "freely to use and exercise the art and faculty of playing Comedies, Tragedies, Histories, Inerludes, Morals, Pastorals, stage plays … as well for recreation of our loving subjects as for our solace and pleasure."
Shakespeare entertained the king and the people for another ten years until June 19, 1613, when a canon fired from the roof of the theatre for a gala performance of Henry VIII set fire to the thatch roof and burned the theatre to the ground. The audience ignored the smoke from the roof at first, being to absorbed in the play, until the flames caught the walls and the fabric of the curtains. Amazingly there were no casualties, and the next spring the company had the theatre "new builded in a far fairer manner than before." Although Shakespeare invested in the rebuilding, he retired from the stage to the Great House of New Place in Statford that he had purchased in 1597, and some considerable land holdings ,where he continued to write until his death in 1616 on the day of his 52nd birthday.
Some important plays :
Macbeth
Romeo and Juliet
Much Ado About nothing
Anthony and Cleopatra
A Midsummer Night’s Dream
